NAiSE & Innok Robotics enter into partnership

Written by Innok Robotics | 03-10-2025

The INDUROS transport robot is fully compatible with the NAiSE fleet manager via VDA5050 in a first joint customer project and the associated expansion of automation beyond indoor goods transportation.

Intralogistics is evolving and with it the demand for more flexible and scalable automation solutions is growing. NAiSE is committed to pushing the boundaries of intralogistics automation. We are therefore pleased to announce the successful integration of the NAiSE Intralogistics Platform with the INDUROS autonomous transport robot from Innok Robotics. This is a significant milestone: for the first time, the NAiSE software is being used in an outdoor environment at a shared customer site.
The compatibility between NAiSE's fleet, traffic, order and warehouse managers and the INDUROS robot offers companies a new level of automation. The INDUROS is a highly versatile autonomous mobile robot (AMR) that can be used in a variety of environments, from industrial warehouses to outdoor areas. Unlike many traditional automated guided vehicles that require structured environments, INDUROS navigates rough terrain, ramps and uneven surfaces while withstanding various weather conditions. This flexibility enables companies to seamlessly automate complex material handling processes between indoor and outdoor facilities.
The technical foundation of this integration is based on VDA5050 and ensures seamless communication between INDUROS and NAiSE's software while maintaining flexibility. By using the ROS framework, INDUROS can be easily integrated into the NAiSE ecosystem via a secure VPN connection and wireless network.

Seamless intralogistics for automated manufacturing

"This collaboration with Innok Robotics is a significant milestone in our mission to redefine intralogistics automation. By combining flexible and scalable solutions that seamlessly connect indoor and outdoor processes, we are setting a new industry standard for operational efficiency. Together with Innok Robotics, we are helping our customers realize significant cost savings while improving their overall operational performance." - Raphael Kusumoto, CTO, NAiSE
This collaboration marks an important milestone as NAiSE and Innok Robotics work together on a project for a joint customer in the automated manufacturing industry based in Alfdorf and Aschau am Inn. By integrating the NAiSE Intralogistics Platform with INDUROS, we enable seamless material handling both indoors and outdoors and optimize operations without the need for structural changes. This use case demonstrates the power of combining advanced fleet, traffic, order and warehouse management with autonomous off-road robotics and sets new standards for efficiency in industrial automation.

NAiSE & Innok Robotics join forces

Founded in Stuttgart in 2017, NAiSE GmbH has set itself the task of making intralogistics transparent, flexible and simple. Our mission is to automate the flow of materials by integrating mobile transport robots that support people and ensure seamless coordination between all parties involved in logistics. The NAiSE Intralogistics Platform is a vendor- and standard-independent solution designed to revolutionize material flow and automation in your facility. It integrates different technologies and participants into a unified ecosystem and offers one solution for everything. With its playful design and AI-powered intelligence, the platform provides an intuitive, engaging user experience and simplifies complex processes. It brings together mobile robots, forklift trucks, tugger trains and people, creating a holistic approach to intralogistics.

Innok Robotics, based in Regenstauf, Germany, is one of the technology and market leaders in the field of highly innovative autonomous mobile robots (AMRs). Since 2012, the company has been developing AMRs that can be used not only indoors but also outdoors in challenging environments. Unlike conventional robots, which require structured indoor spaces, Innok Robotics' solutions are designed for use on different terrains. They work on rough indoor surfaces without structural modifications and can be used outdoors in all weather conditions, overcoming obstacles such as ramps and uneven terrain.

The INDUROS autonomous transport robot from Innok Robotics has been specially developed for companies working in material handling and intralogistics. It can carry out transport operations between buildings or completely outdoors, including the automatic coupling and uncoupling of transport trolleys such as pallet trucks, pallet cages and other containers with a payload of up to 1,300 kg. Companies using INDUROS achieve significant cost savings of €200,000 per year per robot.
